When we bought our house in Orlando Hudson was 4 months old. We literally threw stuff in the room and called it a day! We painted it Martha Stewart Sweet Baby Boy blue and I just love the color. The curtains were left from the previous owners and they worked well.
He moved to a big bed right at 2 and we've never looked back. Instead of using our twin beds we decided on the full, he is a very active sleeper and rolls all over the bed.
Since moving to TN I really haven't done anything to his room, we aren't allowed to paint so it is pretty much his same furniture and bare walls :(

That is a great colour! And what a great idea to use a bigger bed. We have a mover on our hands too so maybe we should consider a bigger bed.
