2 Month Update

How is she 8 weeks old???  Friday marked 8 weeks, and I am still in disbelief that A. Claiborne is 8 weeks old B. that we don't live in Tennessee anymore and C. that Hudson is in Kindergarten!  So much has happened in these 8 weeks that I am surprised we are all still standing!

Our 2 month well check isn't until next week so I will update that later, last month she weighed in at 7lbs 13oz and is in the 5th percentile for weight, 20 1/4 inches long which is 10th percentile, and has a big ol noggin in the 75th percentile.

Claiborne,
You love to let everyone know you are around with your grunts and cries. Your big brother Hudson adores you and gives you kisses all the time, he has tried to pick you up several times but mommy thankfully has stopped him :)

You have good and bad nights but have been eating at 9:30pm and then not again until 3:30 or 4:30. Your acid reflux is for the birds and makes you feel so bad, we have started giving you 1 bottle of sensitive formula at the bedtime feeding and has seemed to help with your gas and fussiness.

When you do sleep at night it is in your rock-n-play which has been a game changer! Naps are held in your pack-n-play where you like to sleep on your tummy....don't worry mommy checks on you often :) We are hoping to get your crib set up again soon...

You are starting to stay awake longer during the day and really like your playmat and walks outside. We've taken you to the river 3 times and although you don't seem to like the change from your own space you do like being on the water and all the fresh air.

We are still so glad you are here and although frustrating when you are up for hours at night, I cannot imagine our family without you!

Newborn Pictures

Nine days after Claiborne was born Mack surprised me with newborn/family pictures with our friend Annie. Annie and I met through blogging/twitter/instagram and she did our Christmas card pictures 2 years ago :)  Here are my favorites from our session!
