First off I have to sincerely thank everyone that shopped the Arbonne party for Claiborne! We paid down a bill or two which might not seem like much but believe me every little bit helps!
It has been 8 weeks since Claiborne got her GJ tube and she has been super happy! I mean a changed baby! Her demeanor is so much better and she is gaining weight like a good girl! The only point of concern has been the fact that she has had 5 different staph infections since getting the tube and has had horrible granulation tissue around her site. We have been on every antibiotic! Her GI doctor has consulted with infectious diseases up at UVA and we are aggressively treating it this week, so fingers crossed we can clear it up!
About 2 weeks ago we also had C's blood drawn for 2 genetic tests, Fragile X and Microarray, it will take 6-8 weeks to get the results and so far I have not obsessed over it. Whatever they tell us, even if they don't give us any answers it was the right next move. The hardest part about a failure to thrive diagnoses is that there are very few answers as to why this is happening to her.

Now that the weather is better we've been going to the river :) This girl loves hanging out at the pool! I did find out that she cannot get in a river, lake, or ocean because ya know she has a hole in her body ;) She doesn't seem to mind though!
