The Best Day

Sorry for the delay in posting, life has been pretty busy! Mack was out of town for 2 days last week and then I worked 12 hours Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Hudson has also been on a nap strike since Saturday which is not helping matters!

Anyway, last Wednesday Hudson and I had one of the best days together! I took him to a new park in the morning which he loved, then we went to a new storytime, and then we had a little lunch date together at 5 Guys! It seriously was one of those days that makes me question having more kids, how would I find time to have these special days with Hudson? I know it may be irrational but it is how I feel at the moment!

A Slow Week

It is has been a slow week here in the Lindsey household, I didn't take a single picture until Saturday! One reason is that poor Hudson felt like the picture below for most of the week, we spent 2 hours at the Dr's one day!!! Thankfully he seems to be on the road to recovery!

We went to a birthday party Saturday at a bounce house, Hudson had so much fun!

I had a great mother's day! Mack and Hudson took me to brunch with some friends and bought me a beautiful flower! Hudson then gave me an extra present this morning by sleeping until 9!!


I am so blessed to be a mother to such a wonderful little boy and can't wait to see what our future holds!

Also want to say Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful MOM.....she is amazing :)

....Stays In Charleston

So my weekend in Charleston has come and gone and let me tell you it was so much fun! I took off work Friday so that I could leave early for my 6 hour drive. I actually got up about 5:30 and got to watch the Royal wedding, I cried of course!

On my way into town I stopped at the airport to pick up Kelly and then we headed to Erin's house and then to the beach. We did not stay very long, heading to the hotel to check in and change for dinner. Dinner Friday night was at Social and then we hit up the bars! We definitely got Ti good and drunk :)

Saturday we woke up and walked across the street to the farmer's market, the crepes were amazing!!!! We then headed back out to Sullivan's Island and sat on the beach for the rest of the day, amazing! That night we had a little lingerie shower for Ti before dinner which was a ton of fun! The 2 glasses of champagne I had really did me in ;) We had dinner at Coast and then went to some more bars. I hit the hay early since I didn't want to be hungover for my drive home.

On my way out of town I stopped by where we were married 5 years ago!

All in all I would say the weekend was a major success and I cannot wait for the wedding weekend!!!!

What Happens In Charleston......

So I'm getting all packed up and heading to Charleston tomorrow for this girl's amazing bachelorette party!

Ti and I have been friends since before we were born, our mom's have been bff since high school, and our dad's have been friends since boy scouts! Her parents are my god parents and vice versa.

I'm so excited that she is getting married to the love of her life :)

So like it says above I'm sure most of what happens this weekend will be left in Charleston!

She is lucky I don't have a scanner or there would be embarrassing pictures!

P.S. please pray that Hudson is on his best behavior for Daddy while Mommy is gone!

Easter Week

The week of Easter was really busy here in the Lindsey household, with tons of parties and even a trip to the beach!

Wednesday I took Hudson to the Easter party at his school, they had the Easter bunny come to each class and then they jumped in a bounce house!!! Hudson was not happy having to share his mommy with the other kids and really acted out to show off.....mommy was not impressed. We did not go back for the party after nap since Hudson was still sleeping!

Friday we had our friends over for an Easter Egg hunt! The kids really loved finding the eggs and eating Hershey kisses!!

Saturday we took a spontaneous trip to New Smyrna beach for 2 hours, Hudson had so much fun splashing in the water with Mack :) It was the perfect day!

No pictures of mommy because I had just had a peel at work and wasn't supposed to be out in the sun, my chin was peeling really badly, and because no one wants to see me in a bathing suit!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!! We have had a wonderful day as a family! Hudson woke up and we gave him his basket, it was a huge hit! Daddy then made us breakfast and we headed to church. It was one of the best services that we have been to at our church. After church we hid eggs and a little Easter egg hunt for Hudson, and finally after nap we dyed eggs! We packed a lot in but it was a great day :)
