Los C@bos

Here are some Cabo pictures from my camera, I will upload some from our new SLR later today (see if you can see a difference in quality)

We stayed at the Puebl0 Bonit@ Sunset Be@ch RC#I resort and it was just beautiful! The resort is built into a mountain so the views are just breathtaking! Mack and I loved going into downtown Cabo and finding little restaurants and markets.

There are 3 other resorts owned by the same company in Cabo and they offer a free shuttle between them all. We really enjoyed the P@cifica which was just down the beach from us and is an adult only resort, very spa like. We were on the Pacific side of Cabo where you cannot get in the water, the riptides are deadly! The other 2 resorts are on the Sea of Cortez side and there you can swim in the ocean (but it is tackier and louder).

Since Cabo

I know I have been really bad about updating since we got back from Los Cabos, but things have been rather busy!

Before we left for Mexico I got a job, yay!!!! I am working 3 days a week at a plastic surgery center. I started the day after we returned from Mexico, therefore not leaving me much time to find child care for Hudson. A big thank you to all of my friends that pitched in and helped us out!!!! We really appreciate it!

The week started out well but slowly went down hill. Our beloved dog Bruster had another seizure (he had 1 in April) very early Thursday morning, I took him to the vet and they put him on some antibiotics but pretty much said they thought he had a brain tumor and that he would have another seizure in 2 - 4 months. I went into work late that day. Late Thursday night Bruster had another seizure. I went into work Friday and Mack was going to take Bruster to the vet, long story short I got a call at work from Mack and he said to come home right away.

When I got home we were faced with our worst fear, having to decide to take Bruster to the vet and have him put to sleep. The vet confirmed for us that Bruster most likely had a brain tumor and that there was nothing that we could do for him at this point. The situation was made even worse by the fact that Bruster was acting so normal, kissing us etc, but his erratic mood swings after seizures was just too much.

We will miss him dearly!!!! We loved him very much for 7 wonderful years!

Best Mom Award

Just had to stop in and tell y'all that I have the best mom in the world! She is always there to pick me up when I've had a bad day, but she also tells me like it is and doesn't sugarcoat things. My mom is coming down next Friday to watch Hudson while M and I head to Mexico!

She is the only person that I would trust to watch him and I am so lucky to have her, as is Hudson.

10 years

Yesterday Mack and I celebrated 10 years of being together! How crazy to think that we have been together for that long, through ups and downs, weddings, and babies, here we are. We count the 28th of July as our official anniversary because this is the day that I finally told my parents we were dating and the night we left for Canada for my first vacation leaving a boyfriend at home.

Here are some pictures of us through the years, note that we started dating before the digital age so there aren't any pictures before 2004 I think.
