Dirty

This past Saturday Hudson and I went to watch Mack play flag football and after he ran around the field kicking over all of the cones on the field, I walked him over to the playground. If you live in Florida then you know that in areas with extreme shade where no grass gross there is this silt dirt.....well H decided he wanted to slip n slide through the leaves and silt. I have never seen him so dirty in my life!

Cooking With Daddy

Hudson loves to help Mack cook, most of the time he is already in bed when we start our dinner so it is a real treat when he gets to help.

We had a great weekend and are gearing up for a crazy couple of weeks with trips and weddings! So if I am absent from the blog world it is because I am running around like a crazy person!

Bubbles

This past weekend we had some fun with bubbles outside! Hudson really loves playing in our fountain, he loves putting rocks in and out of it!

I picked Hudson up from school yesterday and the teachers told me he pee peed on the potty for the first time!! While I am beyond excited for this, I am holding off on potty training until after the month of June. We have several family trips coming up in the car and neither Mack nor I want to stop every hour!

The Best Day

Sorry for the delay in posting, life has been pretty busy! Mack was out of town for 2 days last week and then I worked 12 hours Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Hudson has also been on a nap strike since Saturday which is not helping matters!

Anyway, last Wednesday Hudson and I had one of the best days together! I took him to a new park in the morning which he loved, then we went to a new storytime, and then we had a little lunch date together at 5 Guys! It seriously was one of those days that makes me question having more kids, how would I find time to have these special days with Hudson? I know it may be irrational but it is how I feel at the moment!

A Slow Week

It is has been a slow week here in the Lindsey household, I didn't take a single picture until Saturday! One reason is that poor Hudson felt like the picture below for most of the week, we spent 2 hours at the Dr's one day!!! Thankfully he seems to be on the road to recovery!

We went to a birthday party Saturday at a bounce house, Hudson had so much fun!

I had a great mother's day! Mack and Hudson took me to brunch with some friends and bought me a beautiful flower! Hudson then gave me an extra present this morning by sleeping until 9!!


I am so blessed to be a mother to such a wonderful little boy and can't wait to see what our future holds!

Also want to say Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful MOM.....she is amazing :)

....Stays In Charleston

So my weekend in Charleston has come and gone and let me tell you it was so much fun! I took off work Friday so that I could leave early for my 6 hour drive. I actually got up about 5:30 and got to watch the Royal wedding, I cried of course!

On my way into town I stopped at the airport to pick up Kelly and then we headed to Erin's house and then to the beach. We did not stay very long, heading to the hotel to check in and change for dinner. Dinner Friday night was at Social and then we hit up the bars! We definitely got Ti good and drunk :)

Saturday we woke up and walked across the street to the farmer's market, the crepes were amazing!!!! We then headed back out to Sullivan's Island and sat on the beach for the rest of the day, amazing! That night we had a little lingerie shower for Ti before dinner which was a ton of fun! The 2 glasses of champagne I had really did me in ;) We had dinner at Coast and then went to some more bars. I hit the hay early since I didn't want to be hungover for my drive home.

On my way out of town I stopped by where we were married 5 years ago!

All in all I would say the weekend was a major success and I cannot wait for the wedding weekend!!!!
