Our Year In Pictures
We have had an amazing year here in Florida. Hudson has grown into a little boy, while sad for mommy, it is amazing to see him become more and more aware of the world around him. Mack is still enjoying his job at Darden and has made some great friends. I started a job in August after looking for 2 years!! I love that my job is 3 days a week so that I still get to spend time with Hudson and my other mommy friends! We lost our beloved dog Bruster this year and we miss him everyday :(

Blog Identity
Lately have been struggling with my blog's identity, is it merely way for our families to catch up or are our friends actually using it also?
While I was a stay at home mom (looking for work) I discovered this whole mommy bloggers community and was deeply intrigued. First I lurked, too scared to comment on anything, and then I started to realize that these mommies were just like me, looking for an outlet to express them selves and make new friends. While I still lurk at most sites I am learning that I can put myself out there, because in the end, whether I become friends with other bloggers or not, I am finding my voice and I love it.
I also wonder how so many people read and comment on someone's blog....no one has ever posted a comment on mine so it just seems crazy that you could have as many as 100 comments a post!
While sometimes I think it would be nice to write down what I am thinking, going through, etc. I just don't know if I am there yet and if anyone actually wants to read any of it!
Anyway as I sit here at work longing to be home with Hudson once again I just want to say thank you to those of you that read this little blog!

Christmas Part III
The Lindsey's braved a snowstorm and drove down to Orlando from Richmond the day after Christmas....something like 17 hours later they made it to us!
Helen and Aubrey overlapped one night with my parents so we were able to get a group shot of Hudson with all of his grandparents!
Hudson was once again spoiled rotten as GiGi took care of him while mommy and daddy worked.
We opened wonderful presents, skyped with Lee, Mindy, and Emma, and just had a great time catching up!
Mack and I have come to the realization that our parents no longer come to see us, they come to see Hudson :)

Christmas Part II
Well Christmas continued on the 26th with my parents. Hudson had a great time opening all of his gifts from Mimi and Papa! They gave him some paint brushes, a tool belt, and the cutest little smock for him to wear while he paints.
Although their trip was short I loved spending time with my mom and dad and can't wait to see them again soon :)

Christmas Part I
Well we had our 1st Christmas just the 3 of us this year! We were unable to go to Richmond due to my lack of vacation time and the cost of plane tickets. It turned out for the best in the end because I came down with the flu on the 23rd after work. Poor Mack had to do everything on Christmas Eve, take care of Hudson, wrap presents, put together Hudson's kitchen, etc. He really surprised me with how much he took on!

Christmas morning I was feeling well enough to get up with Hudson and let Mack sleep in for a little while. Hudson ran into the living room and went straight to my new bike, I had to direct him over to his kitchen, which he loved!
After we finished opening presents we skyped with the Lindsey's and then we were just lazy the rest of the day until picking up my parents at the airport.
It was a wonderful day for our little family :-)
Daddy made cookies for Santa
Hudson playing with his new kitchen
Santa ate some cookies and left Hudson a thank you note!
He decided that he would rather have cookies than a waffle for breakfast
playing with all of his new cars
Daddy putting together his car/train track
reading a book in his tent that he got from Pete and Jill
